I am looking for a lightweight 2 hitch mount cargo carrier that has internal dimensions of 30 x at least 48. Thanks!

The lightest weight hitch mounted carrier we have available is the 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs # PS1040100. This carrier weighs approximately 70-lbs and will fit in your 2" hitch receiver and is 47-3/4" long x 31-3/4" wide x 2-3/4" deep long when measured inside the rails with the ramp folded up.
If you could go a little smaller, we have the Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier - 500 lbs # FHG59ZR which is 48-3/16" long x 21-1/16" wide x 2-1/8" deep, and only weighs 23 pounds.
