Recommended Running Boards To Replace Narrow OEM Steps On 2020 Toyota 4Runner

Will this kit 27-1945 work on Toyota steps? The 4runner is 2020 and has Toyota steps that are just to short and to close to the body. No room at all to place a foot on the step and use it. Thanks

I have a replacement option for you, but the Westin Custom Installation Kit # 27-1945 is designed for the Westin Molded, Sure-Grip, and Grate Step Running Boards and will not work with the OEM steps on your 2020 Toyota 4Runner.

Instead I recommend replacing your steps with the Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards w/ Custom Installation Kit - 6" Wide in Black # 27-6125-2165 or Brushed Aluminum # 27-6120-2165 if your 4Runner is a TRD or SR5 model.

If your 4Runner is a Limited model, you would use the Black # 27-6125-1945, or Brushed Aluminum # 27-6120-1945.

These 6" wide steps will give you the additional space for your feet that you are looking for, and each of the kits mentioned include a custom installation kit that does not require drilling to install.
