Adjustable 2" Hitch Receiver Adapter That Can Be Used With Towing A Trailer
Updated 01/26/2021 | Published 01/22/2021 >
Question:
I have an off road trailer that I tow with my jeep. I use a anti-sway setup when on the road. It uses a 2 receiver to attach to my vehicle. My problem I need to tow my trailer with my 02 Dakota, but the hitch level is too low. I need to raise the 2 receiver up 2 inches. But I need to end up with a 2 receiver on top to use my anti-sway bar. All i can find is a 2 lift that ends with a ball. Any suggestions/

I have the perfect solution for you! The Patriot Hitches Adjustable Drop Hitch # PH67SR will be exactly what you need. This will fit your 2" receiver and can be adjusted to rise or drop 2-1/2" up to 11". This is going to be your best option as this adapter allows for 700lbs tongue weight and 7,000lbs max towing capacity, whereas most 2" adapters are not meant for trailer towing.
This comes with the hitch pins and clips necessary for use. It also has anti-rattle bolts that are built-in to reduce vibration and noise, along with anti-tilt bolt (wrench is included for adjustment). I have attached a demonstration video for this product that goes into more depth of explaining its quality features.
