The 4-way flat connector that the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 plugs into is the trailer wiring installed on the vehicle either from the manufacturer of it or aftermarket. If your vehicle doesn't seem to have a 4-way it's very likely it does not. If you let me know what the year/make/model of it is I can see what trailer wiring kit you'd need.
