I have a gooseneck trailer with a 4 and half inch square tube od and want to change coupler at base is there a weld on one that will work

We do have weld-on gooseneck trailer couplers that are 4-1/2 inches square, they are complete couplers as I'm not 100 percent certain what you are referring to by changing the coupler at the base, unless you mean welding it on. For a weld-on gooseneck you can use either of the following:
- Ram Gooseneck Coupler - 7" Adjustment - Square - 2-5/16" Ball - 30K # GCSQTW-30008
- Ram Gooseneck Coupler - 8" Adjustment - Square - 2-5/16" Ball - 25K # GCSQ-25008
