Question:

does the 76226 hitch receiver interfere with the foot activated rear hatch open/close function that is under the rear bumper?? also, please advise if the SH35VR will work on my vehicle as well.

Yes the Draw Tite hitch part # 76226 does fit your 2020 BMW X3 and would still allow the hands free liftgate to function but the area you'd need to move your foot would be reduced due to the hitch opening. The Stealth Hitch part # SH46FR is an option that wouldn't interfere at all when the lower hitch opening is removed.
