Recommended Leaf Spring Replacements for 2018 Grand Design Imagine 3170BH with 4400-lbs Axles

Question:

I have a 2018 Grand Design 3170BH with 4400lb axles under it and 4 leaf springs. The springs are getting g weak on one side and I would like to upgrade to a 5 or 6 leaf spring option. Which ones would I need to do this upgrade with my current axles?

I wasn't able to find the exact length of the springs that are used on your 2018 Grand Design Imagine trailer, but for 4400-lbs axles the leaf springs we have available are the # e27SR, which are 26" long from eye center to eye center and have 6 leafs. You will want to measure the springs on your trailer to determine if these will work or not; when measuring your leaf springs you want to do this with the spring removed from the trailer so that it is not under tension. Measure from the center of one spring eye to the center of the other; springs may flatten over time so you'll just want to make sure they're within about 1/2" of the replacement size.

If you find that you've got longer or shorter springs, just let me know what you find and I can recommend an alternate solution for you. I've also linked all of our double eye springs for you to have a look through if you'd like.
