My owners manual says do not use tire chains. I do need chains at least for the rear tires as I go on hunting trips in Colorado. What suggestions do you have? 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4 Tire size 275/60/R20

What I recommend you do is contact a GM dealer in the area you will be travelling and ask what they suggest you do as they'll have a solution since in Colorado there are areas you have to have a set of chains on you to pass through.

Most likely they tell you it's okay to use a lower clearance tire chain like the Titan Chains part # TC2533 which we've installed on similar trucks and found they fit and work great. Check out the install video link for more info.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
