A quick and easy jack upgrade can be done with the etrailer # EJ-3520-BBX Electric Jack with foot plate.
You can further upgrade by selecting the Lippert # LC643589 Smart Jack. Hitch memory automatically returns your trailer to the position at which you unhooked. Up/down buttons allow easy one-touch operation. Check out the attached videos to see the extra features.
Both of these jacks install where you old one is right behind the coupler and will not interfere with your weight distribution system or bike rack.
Either way you will just bolt on and connect the old wires to the new wires. I recommend using our Deka # DW05745-5 heat shrink butt connectors once they are crimped. If you don't already have a good crimp tool add the Performance Tool # PTW30764 crimping pliers to your order.
For a nice clean and tight installation us the Deka # DW05726-25 cable ties to guide the wires down the jack tube.
If you additionally need a trailer A-frame bike rack I would recommend the Swagman # S80503 Stratler Rack Carrier. You can then use any typical bike rack that you might use in a 2” hitch receiver on the back of your vehicle, like the Thule # TH9058 2-bike rack. You must use a hitch anti-rattle clamps # RSCP on the hitch where the bike rack attaches. The bikes catch a lot of wind in this location and without the clamp they will wiggle more. Finally, remember that with these A-Frame racks, the weight limit for the hitch and bikes must be under 100 pounds.
Depending on your vehicle we may have a front hitch available like the Draw-Tite # 65005 Front Mount Trailer Hitch. Just let me know your vehicle details and I can tell you what is available.
