Recommended Extended 2 to 1-1/4 Hitch Adapter For 2015 Jeep Wrangler With Yakima Bike Rack

Question:
I have a 2015 jeep and I am looking for a extension for a bike rack that has a 1-1/4 stinger going in to a 2 hitch receiver. Because of the spare tire Ill need the extension. I have a Yakima bike rack with a 1-1/4 stinger.

I would be happy to recommend a 2" to 1-1/4" extended hitch adapter for you.
Since your 2015 Jeep Wrangler's spare tire gets in the way of bike racks I recommend the etrailer Hitch Adapter # e38YR which will allow the 1-1/4" Yakima bike rack you have to work in the 2" hitch on your Jeep. The etrailer # e38YR will extend 11" to allow your bike rack to clear the spare tire.
Keep in mind that using a hitch adapter will reduce the tongue weight rating of your hitch by 50%.
