What is the Measurement from the Hitch Pin Hole to Tallest Part of Rack on Shifts&Grins Bike Rack?

Question:
Im looking to buy a Benton Shiftandgrins 4 bike rack. I have 2 questions: 1 What is the dimension between the center of the pin hole of the hitch to the top of the highest protruding feature in the carry position, and in the ped position? I have a GX470 withe a barn door and need to make sure I can open it with the rack installed. 2 Do you offer any replacement parts if something breaks? I’m mostly worried about the ratchet straps. Hello Stephan,
I was able to go out and get the measurements you requested. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the top of the Benton Shifts&Grins #B82FR when it’s folded up to the highest point is 71". When the rack is in use, the measurement from the center of the hitch pin to the highest point is about 43" (an adult bike would be taller than this when in use). I’ve attached some pictures for reference as well.
We don’t currently have the straps or other replacement parts listed on the site, but they will be available very soon. In the meantime, if anything comes up, I’ll make sure you’re taken care of.

Hi, what is the vertical dimension when the beams are folded flat? I assume in that case the wheel cradles are the highest point at which a side-swinging door could hit. Thanks.
