Trailer Tire Size to Replace P205/70R15 on Utility Trailer

I have a pretty heavy 5x8 utility trailer that currently has P205 70R15 tires on it. The fenders sit pretty high on it. What size tires would you recommend that could replace these? Thanks

Since your tire size starts with the letter P you have a passenger vehicle tire on your trailer which is not ideal since it's not rated for the vertical loads that trailers have. You want a tire size that starts with ST like the ST225/75R15 # TTWTRTM2257515D. This has the size and Load Range you want plus it has an 81 MPH speed rating which is great considering most trailer tires are only rated for 65 MPH. I attached a review video as well.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
