Smallest Trailer Wheel And Tire With 6 on 5 1/2" Bolt Pattern With Load Range E Tire

Question:

HI, am converting a mobile home frame and axles to a DIY trailer. I have ordered 6 lug hubs [idler and brakes]. considering the height of the trailer. I am wanting to keep it low as possible like the original lowboy 14.5 tires. Do you have a six lug rim with a load range E tire that is around 22 inches? I see the Kenda 205/65-10 Bias Trailer Tire with 10inch White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range E, but I need a six on 5. Thanks for your help. I have ordered the LIBRA Set of 2 Trailer Idler Hub Kits 6 on 5.5 for 5200-6000 lbs Axle - 22019K for the front axle. I have not ordered the rear hubs yet if you have a suggestion on that... Thanks.

Hello Glenn!

The smallest tire and wheel that we carry in a 6 on 5 1/2" bolt pattern with a load range E is the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Tire with 15" White Spoke Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2" - Load Range E # AM32680, the outer diameter (when inflated) is 28.4", so it is not going to give you that lowboy style you are looking for.

Your best bet on finding a smaller one would be to change the hubs to a 5 on 4 1/2" bolt pattern.
