Question:
I recently purchased a 2020 F250 I tow a 9k camper with 5/16 snap hook and a 12k car trailer with 3/8 snap hook neither of my safety chain hooks attach to he 15k Ford factor hitch. My dealer say they have never heard f this problem. I called Ford customer service sent pics etc. After two days his response was my safety chains were the issue. What are my choices for a safety hook to fit ? Thanks

You are not the first customer to have issues with the safety chain hooks on the OEM trailer hitch for your 2020 Ford truck as this has been an issue for a few years now. Using a quick link like the Curt # C82932 that you referenced might be a good option, as long as the gap on the link is large enough to fit around the loops. When opened, the quick link has a gap that measures 5/8 of an inch and the inside length is 3-5/16 inches. I have attached a video to clarify these dimensions.
