Hi, I wanted to see if I might be able to get some help locating a hitch adapter. Im looking for one that converts from 1 1/4 inch to 2 with a rise of either 7 or 8 inches. I see many online with a 7inch extension but Im looking for a 7inch rise. Do you have an item that would lift the hitch up by 7-8? Thank you!

I have another option but there is currently not a 7 inch rise 1 1/4 to 2 inch hitch adapter.

The Highest Rise adapter we have is the Brophy Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver with 5" Rise # HT5R.

The only other option is to change your trailer hitch receiver to the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # 75717 which is has a 2x2 receiver and is designed for your 2012 Hyundai Tuscon.

With a 2x2 receiver you can use the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 8" Drop/Rise # RM-077-8 to give you the additional rise you are looking for. Keep in mind that the use of any trailer hitch adapter will reduce your tongue weight rating by 50% and cannot be use for towing a trailer.
