Modern Tire Size Replacement for G78-14 Tires on Boat Trailer

Question:

Hi, I need to replace my G78-14 ST boat trailer tires, but cant find the specs anywhere to match. Can someone assist me with making a sound decision on which spec fits best for my trailer 20 foot sports boat?

The 'modern' size equivalent to the G78-14 size would be 205/75-14. For a boat trailer, galvanized, PVD coated or aluminum wheels are recommended.

The Kenda Karrier in 205/75-14 radial tire would be a good, reasonably priced option. We offer it in a load range C (1870 lbs per tire/ 3740 lbs per axle). The tire is mounted on a galvanized spoke wheel. The wheel/tire combo is available as part # AM32156.

We also offer a load range D tire with a 2200 lb per tire capacity/ 4400 lb per axle capacity as part # 274-000012. We don't offer it mounted on a wheel, but you could get the same wheel as mentioned above separately as part # 460545MBPVD and have it mounted locally.
