Question:

I just got a dump trailer. 10k GVWR. Id like to use a weight distribution hitch but the location of the box for hydraulics is in the way for where you would typically mount brackets for the bars. Are there other options that might work for this configuration?

In order to use this system on your trailer frame you'll need to install the Chain Hangers for Curt Weight Distribution Systems - Bolt On # C17005, which will allow you to work around the hydraulic box that you mentioned.
