There are some differences between the Curt # C13316, Draw-Tite # 76226 and the EcoHitch # 306-X7275 and I think a lot of it comes down to what you're looking for most. All of these hitches are going to install the same way, so there's no advantages of choosing one over the other for that reason. I also would cross the Draw-Tite hitch off the list right now because the Curt and EcoHitch have some unique things going for them that set them apart.

Curt hitches are typically what I recommend because we've found that their powder coatings are a bit thicker, which ultimately makes them a bit more durable over time when it comes to handling the rigors that are associated with towing and wear that comes with having a hitch on your vehicle. The receiver will be the only exposed part of the hitch when installed, but pulling out of driveways or going over speed bumps may cause it to drag.

The EcoHitch # 306-X7275 provides a "hidden" option for your vehicle, since the receiver can be removed, which will help when going over speed bumps and backing out of driveways with large dips; plus it's going to give the hitch a nice concealed look since the receiver will only be visible when you've got it installed. If ground clearance, and appearance is the most important thing to you, this would be the best choice.

I personally recommend the EcoHitch # 306-X7275 for those reasons, and because you're able to remove the receiver, keeping it protected from scratches and dings gets taken out of the equation and because the X3 isn't a tall vehicle I believe ground clearance will be important when not towing.

For wiring I recommend using the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT, since it's the easiest to install and doesn't require splicing into any wiring. This kit clamps on to the wires and uses a reliable powered converter to help prevent any back-feed from damaging your vehicle's electrical components.

You'll also need a ball mount and hitch ball to complete your tow package, and I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 for that. This comes with 2 ball mounts with varying rise/drops, 2 ball mounts (1-7/8" and 2"), hitch pin, clips and a carrying/storage bag.

I've linked some installation videos that you can use if you're going to be installing these yourself, that I recommend checking out.
