Hello, Will the Yakima 12 Skybox fit on a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee trail hawk without hatch interference? Also, what is the box load capacity? Thanks!

Let's start with the capacity of the Yakima SkyBox 12 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y07334, which is 165 lbs per the manufacturer.
In regards to hatch clearance, we haven't tested it on a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but there is a simple way for you to find out if the cargo box will clear without interference. All you need to do is measure from the center of the front crossbar to the seam where your hatch opens. As you can see from the diagram below, if that measurement is at least 57" then your hatch will open without interference when carrying the Yakima SkyBox 12 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y07334.
If you had less space, there are other options for quality rooftop boxes from Yakima, each of which have the same 165 lb capacity. The Yakima GrandTour 18 # YA84FR needs at least 50.75", the GrandTour 16 # YA74FR at least 48", and the SkyBox NX 16 # Y95AV requires at least 47".
