Chase first tracks, not trunk space. You've got skis, boards, bags, and zero desire to attempt to fit it all in your backseat. This low-profile cargo box fits up to 8 skis or 6 boards. Built for dawn patrols, pow days, and season-long road laps.
Rolling deep with a full crew and their gear? This box doesn't blink. With 14 cu. ft. of interior space, there's room for up to 8 skis or 6 snowboards, poles, and whatever extras you wanna toss in there. It handles long boards (up to 185 cm), short trips, and full-on ski week hauls with the same confidence. You won't have to choose between gear or friends. Bring 'em all.
This thing rides tight to your roof like it was born there. The aerodynamic shape keeps wind noise down and your gas mileage up, even when the forecast says crosswinds and chaos. It clears most shark-fin antennas and doesn't scream look at me like some oversized plastic domes do. Clean lines. Quiet ride. More gas money for resort nachos.
The memory mount system is the unsung hero here. Set it up once and it remembers your ride, so you don't have to fiddle with adjustments every trip. Just clamp it down and go. The mounts are easy to secure, even with gloves or frozen fingers. It holds tight, trip after trip.
Halfway up the pass and that familiar doubt creeps in - did I lock the box? Save yourself the stop. The key physically won't release unless the lid is shut tight and locked down. You don't have to worry about anything sketchy happening with your gear. Save the stress for making sure you avoid that tree well in your next downhill race.
Tight parking lots are a non-issue. This box opens from both sides, so you can load and unload without contorting over the roof rack or wading through a puddle of parking-lot slush. Grab your skis, pass a board to your buddy, or snag your poles without having to circle the vehicle like a lost Jerry.
You didn't pack your skis just to wipe grime off them in the resort parking lot. The fully enclosed design shields everything from road spray, salt, and highway sludge. When you pop that lid, your gear is clean, dry, and ready to drop in. Just grab and go. The lift is waiting.

Dang, some people really don't know how to park, do they That's okay. I got the, you know, 850 roof box up here. I can actually open this up from either side, and this is gonna be an upgrade for me in a lot of ways. Actually, I like this button a lot compared to what I used to have. This feels a lot more natural. I don't have to fight with it as much, like I've had in the past, especially since I had a more of a exposed carrier.
And with that exposed carrier, I was getting just a lot of like, road debris on my skis. And since I have my friends' with me, I just wanna help protect them. And this one's been in my family for quite some time, so I just wanna make sure that it lasts for a long time. Now I gotta keep at it so I can hit the slopes. Now, if you guys have the same type of box I'm using today, please leave a comment and review, and let us know how you like it.
But I'm gonna keep at it. Hopefully I see you out there.

We have used our Inno roof box on a few long trips and I am very happy with it. I like how low profile it is and the fact you can open it from either side which makes packing it much easier. Doesn't seem to negatively effect MPG that much either.
Great buy… perfect fit.
Great box if you're looking for something small and manageable. Just big enough to fit my rather large 166W snowboard. Low profile and aerodynamic, and I find the inno crossbar clamps to be straightforward. The box also locks and opens very easily, which is more than I can say for my Yakima CBX box. As an added bonus, I can mount this on our full size SUV with no help due to the reasonable weight of the box.
No complaints, this cargo box has been great. We've put roughly 2k fully-loaded miles on it over the past year and it has worked as advertised. It fits a lot more gear than I expected and looks great on our Outback. Wind noise is minimal, and it also has a minimal impact on mpg. It's easy for me to install on the car by myself in a few minutes, and it's great to be able to access the interior of the box from either side. It's also pretty cool to have a sleek roof box that stands out from the sea of Thule and Yakima products out there. I'd absolutely purchase another Inno product. The folks at erailer were great to work with as well.
Not cheep, but what good is!? Product is obviously quality. Impressive and nice to be the owner of; as a travelling performer for seniors it will get use, so the nicer and more substantial the better. Also Phillip as my sales chap was uber helpful at every step.
Meets my needs perfectly. Robust, easy to use, and holds up well in the environment.
Seems like it's going to be a great, low profile cargo box. Was a little worried about the small size of the Inno 320 (9 cubic ft), but looks like it will easily hold all my solo camping gear, including 2-person tent, camp mattress pad, sleeping bag, bag liner, camp blanket, collapsible camp chair, and small folding table. eTrailer delivery from Missouri (UPS Freight aka T-Force) arrived at local freight facility on time (six days after order placed). T-Force called to say due to a shortage of drivers they couldn't deliver to my home until the following week, so I went directly to their freight facility (about 15 miles from my house) to pick up the boxed product myself -- only a minor inconvenience.
Installation of the 320 box onto my roof rack (Yakima Jetstream aerobars) went smoothly and only required one person.
The Inno 320 will free up a significant chunk of space in my Honda Fit for cargo and/or passenger(s). I hope it doesn't impact my gas mileage (mpg) that much -- I don't anticipate more than a 2-3 mpg "hit" on my long distance travels, with perhaps a bit of wind noise?
Perfect for what I needed. I couldn’t find any information about whether a standard carry on size suitcase would fit in this, and the answer is yes - sort of. As long as it’s not overly stuffed you can close the cargo box with soft luggage in it.
very impressed with this box. fits perfect on OEM 4Runner crossbars. Very low profile. No noise. You don't even know it's there.
2 seasons and still happy. Fits my snowboard(155), wife’s skis (175) and daughter’s board with bindings. My bindings take a little adjusting to close the top but it all fits for the ride up or down the
Mountain.
Great product and shipping was fairly quick! Would love to see a little more wrapping protection on the products for freight deliveries as the box did arrive slightly damaged
So far this has been a great little cargo box. I carry all my gear and tools. Perfect size. I have had inno ski racks before. They make great equipment.
Love it! Very good quality. Low profile and holds just enough. Works well on smaller SUV. It’s like adding an extra cargo area. The clamps to attach it are amazing too. Very happy with this box. etrailer is great too. Thank you!
freight shipping was a nightmare! I ultimately decided to drive to the local terminal and pickup the box because I couldn't count on the the delivery company to even call me let alone deliver it. What was described as UPS freight shipping was actually an outsourced freight company. Not sure if this was an issue local to me or if UPS is outsourcing all of its freight nation wide but I can only describe it as lousy and unprofessional. The shipping box was all but completely destroyed so I was amazed to find the Inno undamaged inside the box. This to me is a testament to the quality of the product. It looks awesome. Love the flat black finish. The lid, hinges and lock all work as expected. It fits a Little Giant ladder perfectly.
I love inno roof racks, but since 2020 they've been hard to find in the US for the size I wanted. So happy to have found this one to replace my old one. Love the streamlined look and security of the box. From skiing to camping and multiple cross country adventures going highway speeds, it holds up and does it's job.
Absolutely perfect fit for a Toyota 4Runner! Can open rear tailgate without any issue. Attaches to your stock roof rack crossbars, so nothing additional required like Yakima or Thule. Awesome locking system.
Originally purchased this for a Snowboarding trip but had to cancel it last minute, but I did end up using it for a golf trip. I was able to fit 3 full sets along with a couple travel bags. Having a CX-5 this was a bit too big for my roof but was able to position it well enough to be able to still use the rear hatch. Whether fully loaded or empty the carrier is not even noticeable while driving.
Lightweight, I can put it on and off by myself. Worked great all winter long, and it's small enough to store in the summer. While being big enough for 4 snowboards.
The clamps that hold the box to the bars are easy to use.
If you're looking for a sleek box for your snow equipment, this is a great option.
The cargo box fits great on my Subaru Outback. I wanted a low profile box that I could drive into the garage. I haven't taken our trip yet, but expect it will work out good. The only reason a star off is the shipping people aren't careful with it and the package box was beat up and the cargo box had some minor scratches on it.
Works great on a ‘24 Telluride. Every easy to put in and take off. Just have to be mindful of overhead clearance, especially in cruise terminal parking garages like Galveston
Perfect size for 4 snowboards. Bought this to get the boards out of the truck. Didn’t want something too big. I love that it is a matte finish and very simple. After adjusting my cross bars it was pretty easy to install and remove. Looking forward to taking it to the mountains.
The Inno 320 rooftop Cargo Box has been a huge help. I searched many brands to find one that fit my Subaru Crosstrek and didn't stick far over the front. I liked the length, width and aerodynamics of the 320. On the first trip, I definitely took a hit with gas mileage on the interstate. However, I ended up putting some weight in the front of the box which helped significantly. This winter, I plan to put it on a bed rack of my pickup to drive cross country. It will definitely provide more storage for the trip. Overall, I am very happy with it!
So far I am very happy with my purchase! From getting the product before the estimated delivery date to installing it was a smooth process. Took it for a test drive on the open roads and interstate - no noise coming from the box!
I read the reviews before making my purchase which mentioned quite a few issues with shipping damage, so proceeded with caution. My box was a little damaged, but luckily not a scratch on my cargo box. I received a call two days prior to schedule a drop off day/time which was nice as I needed to be there for the drop off.
Would highly recommend!
Love my Inno roof box. I had the top shell paint matched and love the way it looks. It’s not too big/long and just big enough to hold a spare wheel/tire, jack and emergency gear. Also very happy with customer service at e-trailer; my box arrived with minor shipping damage and they were very responsive to take care of it. Lastly, I researched and shopped around A LOT and hands down, e-trailer has the best prices for virtually all roof box brands and models.
This being a brand new box from Inno, I had no idea what to expect. Usually etrailer has a plethora of reviews and videos but since this is so new, I took a gamble. The gamble paid off tremendously.
First off you need aftermarket crossbars if you have a 4Runner. The box WILL contact your roof and antenna on factory crossbars 100%. I decided to stick with Inno and they fit perfectly. I can open my rear hatch and even my sunroof. No contact. The box itself is super well built and I’ve compared it to my friends thule motion xl and I’d say it’s better quality to be honest. We both agreed it’s sturdier, lighter, and felt like a better quality.
Wind noise wise, it’s barely noticeable. I did follow the factory manual to point my bars 32 inches apart and that helped the nose bouncing greatly. If you have a newer 4Runner or land cruiser, you’ll be just fine to move your bars more forward but you can see from my pictures my factory rails don’t extend as far forward so the box is a little more rear biased but it’s nothing significant or even worth noting. Just nitpicking.
Only downside I found to this box is that gloss finishes are always difficult to maintain. Just also know you’re getting probably the widest box on the market but it is only 10 inches tall inside. I can easily fit carry on, duffels, tents, chairs, etc.

Wow, Stephen, thank you so much for this review! Lots of important things to consider here and I appreciate you taking the time to go through all the pros and cons of this box. Thule is a great brand so I thought that it was impressive that not only you but your friends thought it was equal if not superior! Thanks for sharing the photos, too :)
