Question:

My motorcycle has a five wire plug blue brake wire in the trailer only has four wires The wires on the trailer are all the same color except for no blue wire how do I do thisThe red wire is for an auxiliary light in the trailer

It sounds like you have a motorcycle with separate lights and are trying to attach to a trailer with combined lights. If that is the case (test to confirm) then you need to install a converter on the motorcycle like the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter part # RM-732. The 5-way will then plug into the 4-way and illuminate the lights if everything is installed correctly.

In regards to testing, use a test light on each of the pins inside the 5-way and there should be a separate wire for the brake and turn.
