Question:

Hi, I can’t install my rhino rack roof rack set as there were no keys included. I thought I could drill out the core and replace with master key set. Rhino rack roof rack lock # 118. I didn’t know you had to match up master key set. I bought number 093 master lock set. What master lock set do I need ? Thanks

Rhino Rack has lock cores that come with each component so if you bought the product new, I recommend reaching out to the manufacturer for a set of keys. If you bought the product used or it came with a vehicle, then to get a new key for your Rhino Rack lock 118, you will need the Rhino-Rack Masterkey Lock Barrels - Keyed Alike - Qty 2 # RRRK118-2. If you actually want to replace 4 cores and get keys, then use # RRRK118-4. The keys do not come separate from the cores and the cores only come in sets of 2, 4, or 8 like # RRRK118-8 and each kit with two keys.

If you want to drill out your cores, that is and option, but you want to be very careful to not drill too far or at the wrong angle and damage the tower/feet.
