Hello, neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at a replacement key for your sport track racks and carriers. And this is gonna replace key number SR005, or keyy, KEYY 005. So again, a couple item numbers there. It is key two Y 005, just like the engraving there on the top of the key. This replaces a missing sport rack key, key number, KEYY 005.

You mentioned that this was the incorrect key. I am happy to assist you and I have a few questions that I would like to ask. Is your part a Sportrack or Thule part? What is the number that is on the lock cylinder?

I did hear back from the manufacturer and the key that you need is part # THKEYN138.
Key did not work, key ordered was for a Vault Cargo Management roof bars. The key sent say Y005 as well as the lock, but it did not fit. The key sent was a double sided cut key the Vault Cargo Management lock looks like it might be a single sided cut key. Disappointed it did not work.

I am sorry to hear that you have the wrong key. I see that we do not actually carry the replacement key for the Vault Cargo Rack brand. Let's get you over to our customer service department so they can get you better taken care of.

Well crap. What did you order the key to open? These are normally for SportRack products. Did you have a key number on your original key?

Dang, I'm sorry that the key isn't working for you Lazzar. Could you reply to my email and let me know what key number you were needing and the key number of the key you received?
It immediately broke off in my rack and ruined the rack. I had to trash the rack because of it and buy a new one.
As described, exactly what I needed for my new-to-me Honda van with Sportracks on it.

I would like to see why the key did not work for you and I have a few questions. What is the name brand of the lock that you are using the key with? Did the lock have a number etched on it?
