What is the maximum suggested speed limit for this rack? Going to be taking a 500 mile trip and wanted to make sure i wont be slowed down too much.

The Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # SA803 is not rated for a maximum speed. It is designed to hold tightly to your vehicle and carry bikes up to 35 lb max each. Your traveling speed won't be restricted at all.
You may also want a bike adapter bar like # SA3040 for any step-thru style frames and Saris Protect-O-Pads for Bike Racks - Qty 4 # SA2060 for the best ride.
If you want to secure your bikes and rack to your vehicle, I recommend the Thule Passive Security Strap for Trunk Mounted Bike Carriers # TH533 and Saris Cable Lock - 8' Long # SA981.
