Question:
The distance between my hitch and the trailer coupler is 5 inch rise. What would be the best ball mount to purchase? TIA!

Expert Reply:
The best ball mount that will give you 5 inches of rise is the Brophy Ball Mount # EA60.
This ball mount is made from solid aluminum, which means no welded-on parts that can create weak spots, and also means it isn't going to corrode like steel can. This mount has an 8,000 lb capacity which is more than enough for the large majority of towing needs. For a hitch ball you will need either the 2" Hitch Ball # SC23-C or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # SC30-C.
Then to secure the # EA60 to your hitch, use Hitch Lock # e98882.
