Question:
I got an e-mail today about the ShockStrap Ratchet Tie-Down Straps w Shock Absorbers. Ok Ill bite! But do I need 1,000lbs or 2,000lbs capacity? My UTV is a Polaris Ranger 900 and weighs in at 1,500 lbs. But if we are using 4 straps, does it share the load? Make sense what Im asking? Thanks!

Helpful Expert Reply:
For securing a 1,500 lb UTV like your Ranger the ShockStrap kit you'd want is the part # 297-7RSBB-UTV which includes four 1,000 lb capacity ShockStraps which was designed specifically for UTV applications and would easily have the capacity needed based on what you mentioned. Each of the straps being rated for 1,000 lbs gives the overall setup a 4,000 lb capacity.
