Can Curt Chain Hangers Be Used Instead Of Clamp On Hangers Provided With BXW2000?

Hi, I do not have room for the clamp on on my dump trailer. Problem is that there is a hydraulic box that would be on the way for the clamp on. I have room 8 inches back to be able to install the bracket. Would this work or do I need to buy a different unit all together? Can Item # C17005 be used instead of the clamp on provided with BXW2000?

The Chain Hangers for Curt Weight Distribution Systems - Bolt On # C17005 will work for chain style systems that don't have sway control, so if you replace the tightening clamps of the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BXW2000 you would lose the sway control ability of the hitch but it could still function for weight distribution.
My recommendation instead is to use the Blue Ox Signature Series Lift Brackets for SwayPro Weight Distribution Systems - Clamp On or Bolt On # BXW4021 and bolt them to your frame so you keep the complete function of your weight distribution system with integrated sway control.
If you don't have the ability to bolt these on in the correct location, then an alternative system is recommended.
