Bumper Clearance of Shank Included with Reese RE34FR Weight Distribution System

Question:
What is the shank measure from where you install the lockpin in the car, to where the vertical portion of the shank start. I need to use it in the raised position on my odyssey, but don’t know if I will have enough space at the bumper.

The distance from the hitch pin hole to the beginning of the reinforcing gusset of the shank provided with the # RE34FR Reese Weight Distribution Kit is 3-7/8 inches, as shown in the provided photo.
