Question:

I have crossbars purchased from somewhere else to fit my Nissan Rogue. I guess these are a generic bar, not from Thule. Can I install a Hulavator to a generic bar?

The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 comes with mounting hardware designed to fit round square, or into the T-Slot of an aero-style roof rack crossbar. If you have the aero-style crossbars and they don't have a T-Slot then you can use the Mounting Kit # TH7520970001 which changes it to a clamp-on installation so that it works for your application.

Just make sure that you can get the 4" - 8" required clearance at the side of your Nissan Rogue (see attached) and that your roof rack is rated for at least 130 lbs and you're good to go!
