Clearances for Curt and Draw-Tite 2 Hitch Receivers on a 2019 Toyota RAV4

Question:

Between the Curt and draw tite, whick leaves better clearance and what is the difference?

When we installed the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13416 on a 2019 Toyota RAV4 we found that it measured 5" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the rear edge of the bumper, and then from the ground to the top inside of the receiver measured 12".

When we installed the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # DT82QR on a '19 RAV4 we found that these dimensions were the same so the clearances will be the same either way.

Out of both options I recommend the Curt trailer hitch over the Draw-Tite simply because we have found that the Curt hitches tend to have better welds and a thicker powder coat which will help it to wear better over time.
