Question:
Your tech tip for transmission oil coolers for my truck says it is not recommended to install a cooler on the 10-speed transmission. My trans oil temp. is normally around 200° F and I would like to get it down to around 175° F. Any suggestions?

I recently spoke with Derale and they have stated it is okay to install a transmission cooler on a 2018 Ford F-150 with 10-speed transmission. I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13504 as a perfect size match. It will do an excellent job of helping to further decrease the fluid temperature while towing.
