Rough pavement and uneven terrain can make towing feel harsh. This 6-leaf double-eye spring flexes to take the edge off every bump, absorbing road shock to give your trailer a smoother, steadier ride. With six steel leaves working together, it keeps the load level and helps reduce wear and tear on your frame, hardware, and cargo.
When you’re carrying big loads, you need suspension parts that won’t quit. This spring is rated for 3,500 lbs per spring (7,000 lbs per axle) and measures 24-7/8"" from eye to eye when unloaded. The 1-3/4"" wide steel leaves are 3/8"" thick, giving you a durable setup that stays solid mile after mile under demanding use.
Each end of the spring is fitted with a 9/16"" nylon-bushed eye that moves freely without metal-on-metal contact. That means quieter operation and less stress on your shackle straps and bolts. The double-eye design connects cleanly to your hangers and equalizer so the suspension moves the way it should.
When old springs start to sag or crack, swapping them out with this standard-grade steel spring restores strength and ride height. It’s built for long-term durability and pairs easily with pre-mounted or aftermarket hanger kits (sold separately). Replace both springs together for even performance and alignment that stays true.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for your 7,000-pound trailer axle. Now, this double-eye leaf spring acts as part of your trailer's suspension system by providing an attachment point for your 7,000-pound trailer axle. This is made from a sturdy steel construction with a powder-coat finish that's gonna help resist rust and corrosion. And this is designed to flex to absorb road shock and give you a smooth ride, reducing wear and tear on your trailer, and this is also going to ensure a level ride on bumpy and uneven surfaces. Now, as you probably know, double-eye leaf springs attach to hangers that are welded onto your trailer.
One end of this frame will attach directly to the hanger with a suspension bolt. The other end will attach to shackle straps that are suspended from a hanger. Now, these straps are going to allow the spring to move and to pivot so that it can better compensate for uneven pavement. And if you have a tandem or a triple-axle trailer, the shackle straps will be attached to equalizers that are going to connect multiple springs. So, if you're in need of hangers, suspension bolts, or equalizers, you can find 'em right here at etrailer.com.
In the eyes on each end are pre-installed nylon bushings. The eye diameter with the bushing is 9/16 of an inch, and without the bushing, it's 11/16 of an inch. And again, this is a 6-leaf spring. By itself, it's rated at 3,500 pounds, so that means if you install a pair, one on each side of your axle, that's gonna cover you for that 7,000-pound trailer axle weight. Now, to ensure proper axle alignment and suspension performance, leaf springs should always be replaced in pairs, and we do recommend installation by a professional.
And giving you the length here, and what I'm doing here is I am measuring center of eye to center of eye. I hope you can see we're sitting right at 24 7/8 inches, and the width of the spring, 1 3/4 inches. Now, if you happen to have any questions, whether it's about this spring or anything else that we carry here at etrailer.com, don't hesitate to reach out to us, 'cause we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Received Exactly what I ordered, Super Fast Shipping. Great Prices Thank You
Bought (4) 7K leaf springs and 3 fit like a glove, however the 4th was slightly twisted and needed the help of ratchet straps to make the fit. I haven't driven it yet. Would have given a five star except for the one. Service deserved a 10 star rating.
Perfect fit. Take your time during installation, measure correctly and everything will fall into place.
Perfect replacement for original spring.
I used these as an upgrade to my stock sagging springs. Going from 1750lb to these 2000lb springs lifted the trailer roughly 1 inch which was perfect as I'm often offroad
Great customer service quick shipping t ime.
3 springs that are correct are fine. The 4 spring is the wrong spring, sent a 4 leaf instead of a 7 leaf, still waiting on the correct replacement.
Would be five stars if they came with bronze bushings
Shipping was pretty fast. Springs look good. Putting them on the trailer later today. Thank you!
Nice price. Quick delivery. Product was a perfect fit. I’m very happy and will return for my trailer parts.
Haven't installed as of yet but the customer service was excellent Fast shipping and good company follow up. Carter put all my questions and research at ease
I had called other suppliers, not answering phone or had no clue / answers to my questions
Haven’t had a chance to install them yet, I do believe they will work good. Replacing flattened old #3500 leafs with these for a single axel travel trailer.
The paint/coating on the springs looks awful, hopefully the metallurgy is better. Also, the leafs are shorter than the OEM Dexter spring that it replaces.
The leaf spring showed up onto the campground a day earlier than expected! Great job getting us our part so we could enjoy our vacation!
Huge difference from 4 leaf to 5 leaf on my tandem 5200lb axles
These were the perfect replacement for the springs on my 10 year old Keystone Fuzion 414. They arrived in perfect condition and I was able to do the install myself. It took the entire day because I had never done it before but in the end, I'me very happy witht he outcome.
New springs eliminated the annoying trailer squeaking noise. Very Pleased five star rating
Perfect replacement for my stock Dexter Springs.
Also installed the Dexter EZ Flex Equilizer with Wet Bolt Kit.
Ordered springs for my camper because mine had worn out and become flattened. Replaced with 8k springs and went very smoothly. A little learning curve with triple axle but product was perfect. Very happy. Make sure you ordervnrw u bolts and brass bushings and wet bolts too. I did not and had to after the fact. That was my error.
Broken leaf spring): Ordered the leaf spring late Friday afternoon California time zone. (We travel full time). Most impressed, order was processed Friday night by E-Trailer, with two day delivery. Of coarse it was the weekend, part was picked up Monday morning in Missouri and I had it in my hands by 11:30am Tuesday. I could track the order easily with the link E-trailer provided. We were near Redcrest California, which is not a big town at all, about 50 miles south of Eureka CA.(no parts of this kind in the area). And the best part of all--the part fit perfectly! E-trailers website is very user friendly for getting the right part, the first time!!
Well packaged. Arrived without any issues. Heavy duty and well built.
WOW, what quality! I recommend etrailer for your orders.
Easy to say, but the product itself is high-quality steel, and what can I say about the staff who guided me through my order. They were perfect.
The brass bushings should not have to be pounded in and then the bolt through the bushings because the bushings oblong them selves because the springs are not straight.

Hey Tom, I definitely understand how frustrating that can be, having to fight with the bushings and bolts during install is never a good time. The way the spring eyelets are formed at the factory can sometimes cause the hole to be slightly oblong, which can make getting everything lined up more difficult than expected.
