Question:
Says pocket is 3.5x1.5 but fits a 2x4? Is this right? Also, what is distance from left hole to right hole?

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a CE Smith Stake Pocket, # CE45004G, to take some measurements. The dimensions listed on the product page are correct. The opening is 3-1/2 inches wide by 1-1/2 inches deep. A lumber industry standard 2x4 apparently is not exactly 2 inches by 4 inches but 1-1/2 by 3-1/2 (or close to it).
The center to center distance between the 2 outside holes is 4-13/16 inches. I made a picture showing all of the measurements for you.
