Will this hitch fit a Ford 2000 E-450 Super Duty bus chassis? Frame measures 42inch on the outside.

For a 2000 Ford E-450 you need to look at hitches for the full size van models, see link. The most popular option is # 75703. I have linked instructions and a video showing a typical installation for you.

If your van is an RV cutaway model then The only hitch that is going to work for a 2002 Ford E-450 RV cutaway model is a multi-fit motor home hitch like # 13703. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.

We have the Curt hitch part #C15845 which fits your 2016 Ford F-450 Cab and Chassis and is a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch. This has a capacity of 20,000 lbs too.
