Question:
Will this fit an E450? I have a retired ambulance I’d like to put a hitch on. Thanks!

Expert Reply:
Ambulances are really pretty hard to fit a hitch too since the ambulance bodies all vary quite a bit and none of our hitch manufacturers have decided to come up with a fit for them.
I spoke to my contacts at Curt and Reese and the only styles of hitches that can be made to fit a service body (ambulance) truck like yours are multi-fit RV hitches like the # 41990 that has a 16k capacity. This is a weld on hitch that would require either the 7 inch drop brackets part # 4907 or the 16 inch brackets part # 4916.
