Single or Double Lip Seals for a Trailer with 12192TB Transcom Seals and Using Bearing Buddies

Question:

I have a EZ Loader boat trailer with a 2100 lb rating axle . I am looking for inner bearing seals and the ones that were on were 12192TB which appear to have double lipsdo not know if they were originals. In your parts list I find the same size seals in single and double lips and both cross reference tp 12192TB. Are they both compatible, and if so which is the better of the two? My thought is double lip would equalize the pressure better when submersing the wheels, am I correct? PS I use Buddy Bearing grease caps on the other side if it makes a difference.

You will definitely want to go with a double lip seal if you are using Bearing Buddies because they will prevent blowing out grease from the other side and hold pressure better. Go with seal pair # RG06-010 that you have referenced to get a pair of double lip seals.
