Question:
When I had the jack installed, I remember there was an emergency hand jack and I seem to remember that it was stored in the jack somehow, but I don’t remember the location.

There is no place on the jack # JET-3755 to store the manual crank. You will need to find a place in your camper or vehicle to store it. I use the etrailer bag for my ratchet straps but there's more room in there than what the straps take, you can fit it in there. If you need straps, buy the bag with the straps # ETBMB-05852 or if you don't need the straps you can buy just the bag # e98900.
