Question:

I have a 1997 Shorelandr boat trailer. Frame:1612F Model?:TAO10, with a 16foot alumacraft boat. The frame, of the trailer is 2x3inch and wheel size is 14. Will I need mounting brackets for part# F008564 ?

The fender you mentioned, part # F008564 does not have a specific mounting bracket. The bracket needed will depend on your trailer frame and where the fender would sit on the trailer. You might even be able to re use your existing brackets. To see all of our fender mounting brackets, click on the provided link.

We do have fender designed for a 14 inch wheel with mounting system that works very well. Take a look at part # F008594-2 and bracket # PF1135-BKT-2 (two brackets needed per fender). The bracket mounts to the underside of the trailer frame with U-bolts, the bracket slips over the brackets and is bolted to the fender, as shown in the photo I provided.
