Measuring to Determine Correct Replacement Trailer Fender Size

Question:

Im looking at your Plastic fenders my measurement is 40 inches so I pick out the one for the correct mounting distance. It says its for a 13 inch tire mine are 14 inch I think it will fit but Im asking you. Also is black the only color it comes in?

The Fulton Single Axle Trailer Fender # F008583 also comes in white, # F008573 and silver, # F008593. The mounting bracket slots are 28 inches apart inside to inside. This measurement will matter more than the overall length of 40 inches.

If you find you need the larger size for 14 inch rims the parts are:

Black # F008584-2
White # F008574-2
Silver # F008594-2

The fenders for 14 inch rims are sold as a pair. The mounting brackets are spaced 30-1/4 inches apart inside to inside.

The fender does not come with a rectangle hole for my clearance light. What do you recommend to use to cut the hole for the grommet? Thanks

@DanS We talked on the other page about this but I would use a drill for the corners of the rectangle and then a thin cutting wheel on a dremol to cut the rest.
