Question:
I bought a used 97 Floe trailer, dbl axle with Torflex, that has Axletek 07-GG B07E-01 on all 4. The brake 4 bolt pattern is 2 13/16 on center. GVWR is 4029. Torflex axle measures just over 2 1/8. A few Questions: 1. What would I need to buy without replacing the drum? 2. What would I need if I replaced both the drum and brakes? 3. Do you know if current brakes are for 2200 or 2000 lb axle? Thx!

Expert Reply:
For an exact replacement of what you have you'd want the etrailer brake assembly set part # AKEBRK-2 which is for a 2,000 lb axle like you have. So you'd want just this part number for new assemblies without drums. If you wanted hub/drums as well you'd also need the part # AKHD-545-2-EZ-2K and you'd be set.
