Replacement Trailer Connector and Factory Wiring Harness for a 2000 Ford F-250

Question:

I have a 2000 Ford F-250 Lariat 7.3L with a factory installed tow package, with a 6 blade and center ground, and 4 flat on the side. I want to replace the entire harness as some of insulation wires have cracked and I think it is causing a short. The cord leading to the underneath connection is 2-3 feet long. Will this be and exact replacement, as it lists in description as 7 blade. I am having trouble finding exact replacement. The only numbers I can find on the cord are the following: yc3t 13a576 c321a .

The Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness part # 118243 is indeed a fit for a 2000 Ford F-250. It will replace the 7-way trailer connector as well as part of the trailer wiring harness from the square pigtail onward. I would not have any options to replace any part of the factory trailer wiring harness up to the square pigtail.
