Although any of the Brake Controllers that we offer would work, I would recommend a proportional controller. A proportional controller can sense how quickly the tow vehicle is braking, and send enough voltage to the brakes on the dolly so that the vehicle and the tow dolly stop smoothly at the same rate.
One of our all-time best selling proportional brake controllers is the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part number 90885. This controller would install on your motorhome just as it would on a vehicle with hydraulic brakes. The connection to the vehicle is purely electrical, not hydraulic or air-actuated, so the type of braking system on the tow vehicle isn't really important.
If the motorhome doesn't already have a 7-way trailer connector, you will need a Hardwired Brake Controller Install Kit, part number ETBC7. This kit contains everything needed to install a brake controller on your vehicle. We have a Brake Controller Installation Guide, I will include a link to that and to the parts that I mentioned. You can find the links below.
