Question:
Hi, I have a Kodiak 225 10inch disc brake system from 2006 on one axle of a tandem axle trailer. It has a steel rotor/hub one piece and I would like to upgrade to a stainless steel rotor. How can I go about doing this? Will an idler hub plus a rotor result in a different track axial position of wheel mounting surface than the non-braked axle? I suppose it might not be very noticeable, or I could run a spacer on the non-braked wheels to match. Let me know if you need more info or want pictures. Thanks for your time.

In order to install the Kodiak 10" Rotor part # KR10S on a 3,500 lb axle you'll need the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly part # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K. This would then work just fine with the Kodiak 225 Calipers. That said, if you were only running idler hubs without brakes on the other axle there could indeed be an offset. I don't think this would cause an issue or really even be noticeable but you could use spacers as you mentioned but we do not offer these.
