Is it possible to upgrade the 2589 compressor to the 2590 for more psi? This is on an existing system

Yes, you can use the Firestone Heavy Duty Air Compressor part # F9499 to upgrade the Air Command F3 Compressor System part # F2589. The two compressors use the same two wire design and all of the fittings will be the same so the swap will be an easy one. The heavy duty compressors are also much better than the standard duty options so you will see an immediate difference.
