Now, if you're towing a heavy triple axle RV or trailer and you wanna smoother ride, this suspension upgrade is going to be designed to reduce the harsh impacts and movement that are common with traditional equalizers. This system uses rubberized Equa-Flex equalizers that absorb road shock before it travels through the suspension and into the trailer. So I'm trying to give you a view of the the rubber piece here. So that means less vibration transfer to the RV, cargo, and contents inside.
It's also gonna help reduce the fore to aft chucking or surging sensation that can occur when towing over rough pavement, expansion joints, or uneven roads, making for a more controlled and comfortable towing experience overall. This kit is specifically designed for shorter, triple axle trailers, equipped with double eye leaf spring suspension and axles rated between 5,000 and 8,000 pounds. These equalizers look well built. I will be installing them in a month. My old ones had welds broken. So far very happy. Price was very good. Will take pictures when installed
The order was to replace OEM parts. There was no questioning whether or not the parts were the right fit for my trailer. I looked at other options but felt it was in my best interest to stick with the OEM parts. Still in the search to change out my suspension completely.
I had to replace the original set on my trailer because they were rusted and the shackle bolts were seized. E trailer didn't have these in stock and had to get them from the manufacture so there was some delay. Straight forward installation once I received them.
I bought these to replace the original worn out Equa-flex kit on my triple axle toyhauler. My camper is a 2013 model, and all the rubber components were cracked and had lost quite a bit of their elasticity. This kit was a perfect bolt in replacement. Though the kit arrived with some cosmetic blemishes, the quality was better than I expected. The equalizers come with bronze bushings in all but two of the spring eye positions. The bushing were tight, and my new bolts needed to be tapped in. The equalizers fit perfectly with all my suspension components, and all dimensions were correct. I will be paying more attention to my suspension from now on, and hope to get many more years out of these new equalizers.
