Question:
I installed my phoenix 4000. When I connect it to the battery the jack gives a beep and the led work light flashes once. Thats it. Jack wont operate, cant even turn on work light. Red/green led doesnt light either.

Phoenix Electric Trailer Jack - A-Frame - 22-1/2" Lift - 4,000 lbs # UF38-944040 sounds like it needs a better ground connection. You can wire it directly to the battery like in the installed video or you can install the ground wired to the trailer frame directly with a bare metal to metal connection. The battery itself may need a charge so I'd check that out as well by connecting to a different battery or charging the trailer battery then reconnecting the jack.
If the red LED flashes for 3 seconds, a high amp situation exists and the jack will automatically turn off after that. The jack will then wait 5 seconds and then reset. This process is repeated if it continues to sense a high amp draw. You will need to determine the cause of the issue by checking your wiring and connections.

I am having same issue as well. Battery tests fine. I have tried grounding to trailer frame and also direct to battery.
