Will Trailer Wheels that Had 95 psi Rating Also Handle 110 psi Rating
Published 04/09/2020 >
Question:
My original tires on my fifth wheel were F load range with 95 psi which is what the sticker on my 5th wheel trailer refers to. I recently purchased the Provider G load range tires 4400 lbs rating from etrailer and I have alloy wheels/rims with 8 bolt pattern. These tires have a 110 psi cold tire. Is there any issues with fully inflating my tires to 110 psi with the alloy wheels, or do I need steel wheels?

Expert Reply:
110 psi shouldn't be a problem for wheels you have based on the size and bolt pattern they have as that indicates they were made for higher capacity tires which use higher pressures. If you had tires that had 95 psi ratings the 110 rating would not be an issue at all.
