Question:

I have a 2007 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition. I would like to purchase a Carpod basket and a locking hitch pin. What would be the best fit for that set up? Thank you in advance.

The Softride Locking, Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin, # SR25219, is an excellent choice to secure a Carpod basket to your 2007 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition. This hitch pin will not only keep your basket secure, but it will keep the shank of the cargo basket tight against the receiver tube with the anti-rattle device.

We carry two Carpod baskets and they are the Carpod Walled, Folding Cargo Carrier, # M2205, and the Walled, Fixed Cargo Carrier, # M2200. I would recommend using the Folding Cargo Carrier, # M2205, because it gives you the option to fold the cargo carrier up when not in use and provides additional ground clearance for the carrier.
