Question:
I have a 2017 Ram 2500 with a factory puck system in a 6.5 foot bed. Will the Anderson fifth wheel hitch work with a Turning point pin box if the wedge is not applied leaving the pivot point at the ball? Also does the Anderson hitch void the warranty? The trailer is a Grand Design 150 series 295rl.

A fixed fifth wheel hitch is what you are going to need in order to tow your Grand Design with a rotating pin box, the Lippert Turning Point. Rotating pin boxes should not be used with any type of adapter to ensure stability and a solid connection, and not only is the Andersen Ultimate # AM3200 an adapter, but it attaches to standard base rails so you would need to use the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # RP30154 to mount it. Additionally, the use of any adapter is likely to void the warranty on your trailer, though that can only definitively be answered by Grand Design.
I completely understand the appeal of the lightweight Andersen hitch, but you are going to be much safer and have a much better, more comfortable towing experience with a fixed fifth wheel hitch.
I strongly recommend instead the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16515-16021. This fits your 2017 Ram with the prep package, and is compatible with rotating pin boxes when used with Custom Wedge # C16991. This keeps the king pin from rotating inside the hitch.
