Will Roadmaster RM-156-25 Battery Charge Line Kit Overcharge Batter in Towed Vehicle
Published 03/11/2020 >
Question:
I am just wondering if there is a risk of overcharging the tow vehicle battery with the RM-156-25 kit. I am installing since I will have the emergency brake plugged into my Jeep 12V power, but I am wondering what ensures that the battery does not charge too much?

Expert Reply:
Because the circuit provided by the # RM-156-25 Battery Charge Line kit only provides 15 amps, enough to do the job but not so much that there's any danger of overcharging the battery.
I've linked to an installation video that I hope you'll find helfpul.
